Take Care of Business
Your TRS account should be fairly low maintenance, but routine check-ins are necessary! Log in at least a few times a year to see what may need updating.
- Check your contact information. Make sure you have a personal email address on file and a current cell phone number—along with your permanent mailing address. Go to Profile after logging in.
- Check your beneficiary designations. Make sure recent life changes are accounted for, and enter complete information for each beneficiary. Go to Beneficiaries after logging in.
- Check your correspondence. TRS will send you an email when you have a new letter or account statement to view. Visit regularly because most correspondence is not physically mailed. Go to Documents after logging in.
- Check your bank account information. TRS makes payments electronically. Keeping your accounts current helps ensure that you receive your benefits, loans, and withdrawals on schedule. Go to Payments after logging in.
